                                                    GROWING STRONGER

Sharon has been in post as the manager for just over a year. Sharon worked with Barbara Cluer for over 11 years at Home-Start Merton and is determined to continue the great legacy Barbara created. 18 February-Lois our student social worker completes her placement. HSM is recognised as an excellent placement for students! 1 April 2015-HSM increase their age to 0-11 years! 1 May 2015-HSM launch their new website! HSM have a wonderful new office volunteer, Jade. Our AGM will take place on Tuesday, 27 October 2015, 12.45pm at Christchurch Church Hall, 58 Christchurch Road, Colliers Wood, SW19 2NY.  All welcome, but if you are able to attend please let us know so we can cater accordingly.  Thank you

WimbledonFoundation_RGB_Small Thanks to a grant from The Health & Wellbeing Fund, Home-Start Merton, will be able to take our Home-Start Merton Plus Project to families and schools in East Mitcham to tackle healthy eating and wellbeing issues.

The Wimbledon Foundation is the charity of The All England Lawn Tennis Club.  Set up in 2013, the Foundation aims to change people’s lives using the heritage and resources of the All England Club and The Championships and builds on a successful programme of community and charitable activities over a number of years.

Home-Start Merton is a member of the Home-Start London consortium, which is made up of 13 Home-Start schemes reaching as far as Barnet in the north to Sutton in the south and Redbridge in the east to Hillingdon in the west.   Together the consortium members create a larger footprint than they would individually to have a greater impact across London.  For more information on the Consortium please click on the following link –  London Consortium
